Cannabis sativa (工业大麻), also more commonly known as Industrial Hemp is one of the fastest growing plants where it can be refined into a variety of commercial items.
Hemp has low concentrations of psychoactive component Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and high concentrations of cannabidiol (CBD) which has medicinal values.

Our subsidiary, Yunnan Hua Fang Industrial Hemp is one of the two provincial companies named “industrial cannabis” and has an industrial hemp license in China. This license permits allow us to engage in planting, processing and selling of industrial hemp related products in China.
We are the first foreign company to access the vast China hemp market and has secured a compelling growth opportunity to integrate our proprietary plant stem cell technology to produce cosmetic cannabis products.
Currently, we are actively engaged in business activities related to industrial hemp, such as big data construction and service, cultivation and plantation, product research and development, domestic and foreign sales.

SCU’s Research and Development
SCU is currently involved in the research and development on the uses of cannabidiol (CBD) in cosmeceutical products. We work together with different research centre globally.
One of our research studies have shown positive result in the use of CBD for its anti-inflammatory and non-comedogenic properties to reduce number of freckles using mouse models as shown below:
SCU also focuses on the development of topical eye drops for the indication of Glaucoma.
